Facebook doesn’t protect USERS

A great source of connecting with family, friends and networking. How easy is it for someone to copy your family and friends list and personal information and send out bogus letters, requesting money. This is a great concern, their is no control or not enough consumer protection on these sites. We are told to block someone, but the damage they can do to your contacts are “UNSTOPPABLE”. You block someone from your friends list, they still had access to your information allowing them to send out harassing information. It seems interesting to me that the government can access our information freely from these sites and they do not have a responsibility to protect us consumers/Facebook users.
